Hello, I’m Marta – Acupuncturist and Naturopath here at Happy Body Acupuncture.

I trained for 4 years in the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London and have completed post-graduate courses on fertility, as this is an area of special interest for me. I am accredited with the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture UK who are one of the main self-regulatory bodies that govern the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the UK. They ensure their members adhere to strict codes of ethics and professional conduct and all members carry full professional indemnity and public liability insurance. Additionally I am licenced to practice acupuncture by Norwich City Council.

My approach is very detail orientated and I pay careful and meticulous attention to my patients’ issues, not just the main complaints but also all those minor, seemingly unrelated symptoms. These often have a link in Chinese Medicine, and they help build on an overall picture of the imbalance that needs to be addressed (root cause). If we treat only the symptoms and not the root cause, the symptoms will keep coming back and we don’t want that.

I love answering questions and talking to my clients about their treatments. Between appointments you’ll always find me contactable, in case you have doubts, queries or questions. I firmly believe in this patient/practitioner link, particularly if you are new to acupuncture, or if you are going through any lifestyle or dietary changes.
