INITIAL CONSULTATION

The initial consultation will be longer. As I am creating an individualised treatment, I need to get to know you and your lifestyle. We will also discuss your medical history and any medications or supplements that you may be taking. Some of the questions may seem unrelated to your condition, however, in Chinese Medicine there may be a link, and it will help me understand the whole picture better.

I will also look at your tongue and take the pulses of both wrists. So please do not brush your tongue on the day of the consultation.

I will ask you to fill out some basic information and consent forms.

This will take roughly 1h30min, including the acupuncture treatment. The needles will be in for roughly 20 minutes. If using another therapy, such as moxa, cupping or guasha, I will discuss this with you before the treatment.

(Note: If required, I can split the initial consultation into a 45 minute phone consultation followed by 45min in-person treatment session).

FOLLOW UP CONSULTATION

The follow up consultation will be roughly 1 hour. We will discuss how you have felt since the past treatment and any changes. The treatment itself will be of the same length.

Remember that I am available by phone / email between visits for any questions, doubts or queries that come up.

-Initial consultation (1.5 hours) – £50

-Follow up consultation (1 hour) – £40

Cancellation Policy: I would appreciate 24 hours’ notice prior to your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule.
